Swamp Rabbit Trail Weekend
October 9–11, 2026
This October, it's the Swamp Rabbit Trail. A former rail trail, the Swamp Rabbit runs from Greenville, SC to Travelers Rest, about 20 miles for the main part plus some spurs.
As a railroad line, the Trail was known to be bumpy and some folks said they felt like swamp rabbits bouncing up and down. It's been smoothed out now and is an excellent ride with a lot of interesting places, restaurants, and other points of interest.
In honor of the Second Sunday Ride, Greenville is hosting Fall for Greenville – Tastes, Tunes, and Taps. Three days of food, music, and drinks. Just another Second Sunday Ride Weekend.
Our Weekend Itinerary
Friday evening
Arrive and check in. If you've time, we'll gather in the evening at Unity Park where there are several restaurants, etc.
Saturday
Ride Swamp Rabbit Trail from downtown Greenville north to Travelers Rest. About 22 miles out and back.
- Supper together at a restaurant Greenville area, or maybe just wander around the Fall for Greenville event.
Sunday
Options:
- Ride the Swamp Rabbit Trail again. (It's worth it.)
- Ride a couple of trail spurs on the eastern end of the trail, then meet somewhere for lunch before heading back home.

The deadline to make reservations is Tuesday, September 9. We've a block of rooms set aside. If we fill them (very possible) they will be happy to add one for you if they're available.
Make yer reservations by Sept. 9, 2025. You can cancel the reservation up to 72 hours before the arrival date.
