The Second Sunday Ride is all about having an adventure by bicycle. Each month our rides explore scenic, historic, cultural, and other interesting places or events.
Most rides are within an hour's drive of Auburn, Alabama.
No rides are too long or fast. We tailor them to fit about anyone. Join us!

Our Next Adventure

West Point Lake Dam
Sunday, September 13, 2026

A pleasant ride along the southern edge of West Point Lake and over the Dam. The ride takes us to several parks and viewing sites. The start/finish is in Hardley Creek Park. Restaurants are available in Valley, AL and LaGrange, GA. Beacon Brewing Co. and Wild Leap Craft Beverages are a short drive across the Dam and into LaGrange. Terri's Mill Village Cafe is a "Meat and Three" style local restaurant.

Date: Sunday, September 13.
Time: 9:00 AM CDT, 10:00 AM EDT. Meet at Hardley Creek Park.
Road Conditions: Mostly paved and flat, any bikes/tires will do. The main route is 15 miles.
Bring: Water. Treasure for lunch.

From Auburn/Opelika (about 45 minutes):

Take I-85 N towards Atlanta to Exit 79 toward Lanette, Valley.
Turn Left onto US 29 N. Where US 29 goes right in downtown West Point, continue straight onto 3rd Ave.
After 5.5 miles, RIGHT onto Stateline Rd. (Look for signs to Hardley Creek Park.)
After 0.1 miles, Straight into Hardley Creek Park.
