Arabia Mountain Path (South)
Saturday, October 30

This is a hilly ride. Alternatives include mountain bike and walking trails, a wild animal rescue park, and more.

The Arabia Mountain PATH serpentines through the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area, in wooded valleys lined with wildflowers and incredible granite outcroppings while connecting Lithonia, Stonecrest Mall, the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve, AWARE Wildlife Center, Panola Mountain State Park, and the Monastery of the Holy Spirit. We will be riding the southern half of the PATH that runs along the South River Trail, the Panola Mountain Greenway, and the Rockdale River Trail.

The portion of the Path  we'll be riding is about 21 miles on hilly, off–road bike paths. If you want to extend your ride, explore the northern portion of the Path on your return.

Date: Saturday, October 30, 2021.
Time: 10:00 AM Central (11:00 AM Eastern) at the Trailhead. (The drive from Auburn/Opelika is about 2 hours.)
Road Conditions: All paved, off–road paths. Hilly. Any bikes/tires will be fine.
Bring: Water. Snacks. $5 parking. Treasure for a meal afterwards at the Village Corner Restaurant.
