Tammany Trace Weekend  (Oct 10-12, 2014) – The Trace is a 30-mile rail-trail in St. Tammany Parrish, on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain. It is a paved corridor that runs though five historic communities (Covington, Abita Springs, Mandeville, Lacombe, and Slidell), Fontainbleau State Park, and other interesting places. There are three breweries on the Trace (Covington, Abita Springs, and Chafunkta), farmers markets, and many good restaurants.
